REBECCA: Where are you both from?

AMY: I am from a small country town called Turlock located in the central valley of California. I moved to San Diego,CA in 2001. 

Richard is from Perth, Scotland. He has lived in many parts of Europe to include Madrid, Amsterdam and Bath, England.  He moved to San Diego, CA in 2007. 

REBECCA: How did you meet?

AMY: We met on an online dating site a year and a half ago. 

We spoke on the phone that night.  Our conversation lasted about 4 hours.  From the moment we started speaking, it was like we’d known each other our entire lives. 

We met face to face the next night at a local karaoke hang out.  Again we spoke for hours after karaoke ended.

REBECCA: Then what?

AMY: The next night we sat on a blanket on the beach and talked until the sun came up. We haven’t spent a night away from each other since.

REBECCA: How long did you date?

AMY: We had a whirlwind romance. We said “I love you” to each other 2 weeks after we met. We moved in together only 2 months after we met and he proposed to me a month later on a beautiful spot over looking the ocean.  

REBECCA: Any other special ‘people’ in your life?

AMY: We have 3 wonderful dogs and 2 awesome kitties that make our house in San Diego a home. 

We both sing and he plays the guitar.  We record music together for fun.
