When I first met Vidya and Praveen , I wanted to know how two people in two different cities spanning two time zones ended up together. It turns out some of it had to do with lucky timing and a lot had to do with undeniable sparks. Vidya, from Boston, travelled to Chicago one weekend for a work conference. By chance, she met Praveen while out one night with her girlfriend. It was love at first sight…for Praveen. Although Vidya was initially a little hesitant because of the long distance, they decided to meet up again. And she soon realized that she couldn’t let a silly thing like distance get in the way of being with the man she was falling in love with. Things moved fast for them after that and about a year later they decided to get married. They celebrated their engagement with a quick getaway to the Cayman Islands. They fell in love with the island and decided, why not get married there?? And that is how they ended up with this beautiful wedding celebration this past December!When it came to all the events at this wedding… Mehendi, Haldi, Rehearsal Dinner, Tiki Beach Party, Ceremony and then the Reception I have to thank Mark Chen for helping me capture all these amazing images. Congratulations Vidya and Praveen it truly was an AMAZING event.
