I loved the simplicity of this stunning private wedding of Tom and Meg at the Reef Resort. Meg’s dress was perfect in the breeze adding so much drama to the photos! After they were married by Mr. McGoo we did a few photos on the beach and then headed off to find a fun dock and tin boat and a colourful Cayman house. I love the love these guys have!!

We loved our private little ceremony, being barefoot on the beach afterwards, the warm breeze, and a beautiful evening spent together laughing!
Wonderful and simple
We spent the day together on the beach but we got ready separately, we wanted it to be a bit of a surprise. So he hadn’t seen my dress before.
What were you most anxious, nervous or fearful about regarding your wedding day and what was the outcome?
I wasn’t anxious about wedding, that was the fun part! I was most anxious about walking out of our room on a small space between two pools in a dress with people watching me from the balconies but I didn’t fall in or trip and found myself on sand next to my favorite person without any problems!
What advice would you offer other couples planning a destination wedding?
Do what’s best for you two. I don’t like having all the attention on me… Makes me nervous just thinking about a big wedding and I’d have no clue on where to start with planning one. That’s just not us though, so we made it all about him and I. I got a beautiful dress, he got a linen suit, we set up an intimate evening for two and found the best photographer to capture it. It was absolutely perfect for us and we had an awesome evening!
I went shopping with a friend a few weeks before for just a simple white sun dress but 4 days before we left I decided maybe I should pop in an actually wedding dress shop. I went in by myself and tried on 3 and walked out with it in less than an hour- so glad I did, I loved my dress! Tom and I went to Nordstroms 2 days before we left found the perfect linen suit, white linen shit, had them tailored there, and that was that!
We’ve never had any profession photos, so we weren’t sure what to expect… Rebecca was incredible, she made it so fun! It literally was a blast!

How was your experience taking photos/working with me on your wedding day?
It was the best experience! She made it so easy and fun! He and I had a great time!
