Sonji and Nedra – Elmslie Memorial – Pappagallo

Sonji and Nedra had an incredible wedding at Elmslie Memorial Church followed with a reception at Pappagallo’s. When I met with Nedra and Sonji earlier on in the year we were talking about a few things. Sonji told me he was going to have some cool socks which Nedra didn’t know about. She asked him what kind of socks and he said…. “I don’t see the dress, you don’t see the socks!” and that was how they roll!!!! I think I fell in love with these guys in the first 2 minutes. Both Sonji and Nedra are from Cayman and one look at the ‘drop dead gorgeous’ bridal party everyone can see how incredibly beautiful the people of this Island are!! The custom tailored suits for the lads and the different styles of dresses for the girls and the vintage birdcage veil for the bride. The pink Chevy was such an awesome touch. They officially went on their first date at the local gun range so we had to pop back there with the bridal party (this was a first for me) 🙂 . Sonji proposed to Nedra at Abacus so they gave them a call and asked if they could show up there after their ceremony for a few drinks. Abacus obliged willingly and we took some awesome shots of them at the bar and even got a complimentary bacon shooter…. yum! Sonji and Nedra went off island for an amazing honeymoon and went they got back we met up for a creative session to do some more shots of just the bride and groom…. and out came the cowboy boots! 🙂
