INTIMATE CAYMAN BEACH WEDDING | PRIVATE UNITY SAND CEREMONY | SARA AND CHAD
Sara and Chad gathered together to celebrate their life and love in a beautiful unity sand ceremony along with their children, friends and family in the gorgeous Grand Cayman Islands.
We met through a high school friend of mine who also knew Chad from some networking groups, who also lives close to us in Columbus. We went on a blind date over three years ago with her and her husband.
That part actually came after we decided to get married on Grand Cayman! We knew we wanted to get married, and we also knew we didn’t want a big elaborate affair. We had a family vacation planned to the island and we decided that this was the perfect way to have a beautiful, small ceremony in an amazing place, with little planning involved! We wanted simple and relaxed, and barefoot on a beach seemed like a perfect fit! We started the little bit of planning and everything came together so quickly. The proposal got squeezed in there during a quite moment at home!
I found it online and loved it. It came in the mail, fit well and I loved it. Simple. Done.
What was your favourite moments from the wedding?
Celebrating with family afterwards. My family loves Chad and they were so happy to have this be a part of the vacation. My 9 year old nephew made the sweetest toast, comparing Chad and I to peanut butter and jelly. I won’t try to recite his words, he said them in a way only Taeron can.
Online research. We were looking for something with Lifestyle Photography skills. Some of the best pictures are when no one in the camera is actually looking at the camera. We wanted pictures I would love forever!
Relax. The stress isn’t worth it! And get a great photographer to document the memories!
