Guests all dressed in white for a White Wedding! As the ferry arrived across the North Sound bringing John Mark and the guest to Kaibo, Cayman Islands, Rachel got ready in a room overlooking the beach ceremony. Coconuts filled with rum were handed out as they took their seats under the swaying palm trees.
After the ceremony, the bride and groom headed off to Starfish point for beautiful bridal portraits on a deserted beach. We headed back to Kaibo to enjoy the sunset with the family before the reception began.

How did you find the dress?
“I actually found the dress online and loved it. It’s from BHLDN which is a branch off my favorite store Anthropologie. Houston was the closest store so my mom and I made an appointment and flew in for the weekend. We scheduled another appointment at Neiman’s as well but we didn’t need it. It was the first dress (of several) that I tried on and the one I went with!”
How did you meet?
“As far as how JM and I met… we’ve actually known each other since high school. He dated a friend of mine in 9th grade haha. We ran into each other when I was home visiting my family and exchanged numbers. We hung out as just friends for a few years, and on a group trip to Vegas things changed. We realized we wanted to date each other and the rest is history!”
Favourite moment from the day?
“As far as favorite moment I don’t think I have just one. From having both my parents walk me down the isle, to seeing him at the end of the isle, to the kiss, to the first dance, to dancing all night with my closest friends and family, it was the PERFECT night! We still talk about how much fun we had! Hope everyone else did too haha!”
The palm trees are an amazing backdrop at Kaibo, it is such a great venue.
Using twinkle lights for your reception totally transforms your decor to incredible.
Using sparklers for the first dance is so fun!
Loved how the guests danced the night away and brought props from the photo booth on to the dance floor.
