This journey along this winding road to love and matrimony began late one Saturday night in March 2011. Like the cliché goes, it was definitely “Love at First Sight”, as no words were spoken, no physical interaction took place, or even mutual recognition of each other’s presence. The setting was Jahti’s, a local hot spot, where everyone would hang out after the clubs on a Saturday night. Ian arrived and not too long after saw a mutual acquaintance, Catherine, who he stopped and talked to. It was during this time that the first spark ignited because in his midst was, in his words, “the cutest little Indian”girl” that seemed to light up the night every time she smiled. Whilst Jahti was Ian’s first sighting, Sarah didn’t notice when he was talking to Catherine. The night came to an end. However, as luck would have it, Catherine posted a picture of herself and Sarah with some other gals on BBM. Catherine tells Sarah a few days later that Ian wanted to know who the “cute girl in the middle is”. She eventually introduced us via the once famous BBM. From that moment on the pursuit of happiness began.
We were both having dinner in private in the hotel in London. I had confessed to Ian that he was acting suspicious in Barcelona and how I had started thinking “He must have a ring and is going to propose to me here in Barcelona!” . That never happened lol. He starts to laugh and I seriously say “Yes well it’s too late now” so Ian smiles and looks at me to say “It’s never too late. Will you marry me?” . I of course started to scream and shout and let the tears all out. In the box was the ring I wanted being proposed to me by the man of my dreams and the amazing father to our child. He really did surprise me.

I felt a little nervous but my dad held my hand and whispered to “just breathe”. I reaffirmed my love for Ian to myself and that took all the nerves away. I was ready to be Mrs. Ian Lindo

It was amazing. You gave us what you promised and more. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. Not just because you are great at taking photos, but because you have a personality that no one matches. You are greatness.

Look for a planner that will stick to your budget and will be brutally honest with you. You will appreciate it later! Book your makeup artist in advance. Book your photographer and if your budget meets it book a videographer.
