I initially thought I knew exactly what I wanted but when I went to try it on with all my bridal party it was nothing as I expected. A week later me and one bridesmaids popped into a local boutique and found the one…I had to call my mum and say sorry mum I found it without you! But that did mean to got to go back and try it on again with her.

Chris planned to do it in Australia on an amazing holiday we were going on. However when he went to pick the ring up about a week before we flew excitement got the better of him and he did it in bed that night. After the initial shock I made him get out of bed and down on one knee in the nude and ask me again!

The weather, the scenery and the proximity to the UK. The wine and the generous measures of gin of course
We visited 5 venues over a weekend and our venue was the last. We knew it was the one from the start. We visited it twice prior to the big day and both times it was cloudy and raining so we didn’t get to see it in its full glory until the big day. But it was so worth it!!
The weather. Historically Lauren always has bad weather on holiday, even in Las Vegas in the summer is rained so we spent everyday checking the weather forecast in the weeks prior. We even got quotes for a marquee and started to regret choosing a totally outdoor venue! However on the day it was so perfect and we wasted so much time thinking about what if it rains for no reason.

When the sax player started and everyone was on the dance floor. The food was a close second and the view at sunset third.
Chris designed the engagement ring and Lauren designed her wedding ring. They were handmade made which makes them one of a kind. The wedding party was also unique in that we were allowed to go behind the bar and make our own shots! Baby Guinness were a hit!
Great, we had so much fun with Rebecca and Noah. We were confident in them and they knew exactly what they were doing. We completely trusted them to get the best shots.
