Niqui and Paulo chose to be married at the Wharf Grand Cayman, joining with their friends and family from all over the world. The ceremony was held on the beach where everyone sat around them in a heart shape. Everyone got to take off their shoes and don personalized flip flops. After the ceremony and cocktails the guests entered the tent for a beautiful meal while the sun set behind everyone. After that some crazy dancing and a great big fun photo booth!!!!
A rundown of the night from the bride:
“Everyone had such a great time that we ended up not getting round to it that night (the cake cutting). The Wharf kindly packed it up in a box for us so we could do it another day! Also the Norwegians went a bit crazy for that silly norwegian comic’s song – what did the fox say. Not sure what normal weddings are like but we apparently had an odd crowd! Paulo and I actually managed to get a first dance in (it was the last song of the night and I was wearing extra large flip flops with my dress!) Someone’s crazy idea had everyone move to o-bar…. followed by 2:30am pizza… What an epic day/night!”
