Lauri and George are engaged!! I met up with these guys the other day for an engagement session and man did we have a blast! The weather wasn’t the best but we didn’t let that dampen our spirits! These guys did their homework and had a sign made and had balloons ready and waiting as well – too cute!
They initially met 15 years ago…they “tried” to date but that didn’t work out so well at the time. 🙁 A few years later they ran into each other and exchanged numbers. However, as Lauri says, “the fact that he called me at 4am didn’t score him any brownie points, so I ignored him.” Too funny!! But George was persistent and they met up a few months later and Lauri totally fell in love with him!
George said Lauri made it extremely difficult to pop the question – he had the ring in a box within a box, within a box…you get the idea! 😉 Lauri took her sweet time opening the first box and George had to ‘gently’ encourage her to hurry up!! Haha! She finally got to the good stuff and he was able to get down on one knee and propose. And she said…YES!! 😀 Cannot wait for your big day guys!!
