We had visited the Cayman Islands on a cruise and absolutely fell in love with Grand Cayman. I have never seen a beach more beautiful. From the moment we stepped onto the island we could tell it was a special place.
The entire wedding was so much fun. There was a ton of wind and huge waves, which made things chaotic, but also really fun! Right after we were pronounced husband and wife and took our first step back down the aisle, a huge wave came and hit right where we had just been standing! We also really enjoyed being in a beautiful place with the people that we love and celebrating and dancing.
We did see each other before the wedding. We wanted to take pictures together as a couple before the ceremony so we took a limo around the island to a bunch of fun locations to get unique photos. It was calming to spend time just the two of us before the ceremony; I’m really glad we did it that way.
We met through our friends Jenny and Josh who were a part of our wedding party.
Livia Kwong, our coordinator with the Grand Old House was fantastic! We had a long engagement of about a year and a half and worked with Livia that entire time to plan the wedding. She was professional and easy to communicate with, and had some really fun ideas. Because of Livia we didn’t have to worry about a thing on our wedding day and were able to be present and enjoy every moment! Jackie Soriano was also really fun to work with and did a great job with hair and make up! I would highly recommend her!
He took me to a park where we had one of our first dates and asked me there, then we sat on a blanket at the park and popped some champagne!
Our wedding was energetic, fun, and romantic! It was perfect.
Excited, happy and at peace.
Have fun with it and enjoy every detail from beginning to end. It is a once in a lifetime experience to bring all of your friends and family with you to a beautiful destination and celebrate your love. Soak in every moment!
Hire Rebecca! Your photographer should help you to feel relaxed and give you fun ideas for different photos. Rebecca did a great job of making us feel comfortable, she was great to work with!
We had a great experience working with Rebecca! The weather was insane with rain, wind, and waves, but Rebecca had tons of ideas about how to make the most of it and get some great photos!
Our first song was All of Me by John Legend, the father daughter dance was to I Believe by Frankie Laine, and the mother-son dance was to Simple Man by Shinedown.
