We wanted a destination wedding where our friends and family could kick off their shoes, eat, dance and enjoy the beauty around them on Seven Mile Beach.
The beauty of the island, and ease of getting there!
Seeing everyone together for the ceremony – Derrick up on the alter surrounded by family and friends as my Dad and I prepared to walk. That was def a special moment for me.
Rebecca was a breath of fresh air- she was easy, stress free, and knew all the logistics. I imagined her to be that way from our pre-planning discussions and texts. She made a point to understand our family and guests (who was there and needed to be ‘captured’) . Rebecca was organized and on time with everything- which in the midst of hair, flowers ,dresses, family and all the nerves was a real gift! Rebecca was snapping all night- didn’t miss a moment, and the sneak peek pics the day after were such a treat!!
It might feel silly to be a little extra… or more expressive than is natural, but wow- it allows the moment to be captured so you can remember all the feelings you had. Just go for it.
It was incredible. To have an extra long weekend with all of our guests allowed us to soak in the whole wedding experience and have quality time with the people we love. My wedding team on island- from Alexandra (R-C), Jackie Soriano and co., DJ Craig, and Rebecca were the best! Truly made the planning from a far seem easy and we had a blast with all of them on the day
The sparklers at the end of the night and the floating lantern. Dancing with our family. The cake! Our flower girl and ring bearer met on the wedding weekend and we’re inseparable… we’re taking bets on their wedding date.
