GRAND CAYMAN ENGAGEMENT SESSON
BIANCA + NIKKO
Bianca and Nikko chatted to me about their engagement session and said they wanted something different and NOT on the beach :), which is actually quite normal for locals! 🙂 So we headed to the far end of West Bay and started by the docks. We headed over to Shangrila B and B to steal, I mean borrow some bikes (thanks mum and dad) and found this little road for some romantic shots with the bikes. Bianca wore a beautiful blue dress with low back and it was stunning. I can’t wait to see their wedding pictures as this beautiful couple head over to Italy to say their ‘I do’s’.
Where you guys met?
We met at rum point 4 years ago. I was having a birthday party and he docked his boat next to ours. I very “cutely” stumbled over to his boat and with a little bit of liquid courage introduced myself. A few months later we ran into each other again at Rum Point and we exchanged numbers and the rest was history.
How did Niko propose?
He planned a family dinner at Kaibo, however on our way over by boat he said he needed to stop at Rum Point to look at a house. Well needless to say he wasn’t looking for a house but instead a wife. Then he surprised me by meeting our parents at Kaibo for a celebratory dinner. It wasn’t all smooth sailing, he planned it to propose at sunset but I got stuck at work, so we missed the sunset.
When and where is your upcoming wedding going to be?
Our wedding is on 14th September 2016, we are getting married in Fiesole, Italy, in a castle overlooking Florence.
What made you choose Rebecca as your photographer?
Her creativity and twist on traditional photos. We wanted something unique that fit our personality, and she was the perfect fit for us. We were both nervous being in front of a camera but she turned us into supermodels in a matter of minutes, lol.
