We both love the beach and the tranquility of it all. We were hesitant to ask our friends and family to travel so far but when it came down to it we figured we only get married once and why not make it exactly what we want it to be and we couldn’t have been more happy with our choice. The whole wedding was so authentic to ourselves individually and as a couple. We decided to schedule a boat day and a beach day for the Thursday and Friday before the Saturday wedding in order to have our guests enjoy the island a little more.
Amazing, it was all like a dream and everything was even better than either of us could have ever imagined!

We wanted the grooms outfits to be simple, elegant. and timeless. It turned out that banana republic had exactly what we were looking for. We got the belts, pants, shirts and ties all from the same place and we were very thrilled with how it all turned out.
Enjoy every moment because it really does go by very quickly! Also, find good vendors and trust in them.
I found my wedding dress about a week after we got engaged. Knowing that we were going to do a destination wedding and not start planning for a few months, it was the only thing I felt like I could do and I was just so excited! I was with my mom and two sister-in-law‘s and we went out just with the idea that we would look around… but we found my dress at the very first shop! I tried almost all of their dresses on and kept coming back to this one. It was exactly what I had envisioned and pinned on my Pinterest boards many of times. It not only was two pieces but also had pockets! What could be better? The best thing is that I fell in love with it every time I went back for my fittings and felt absolutely amazing in it on my wedding day!
Abbey grew up going to the Cayman Islands with her family and when Ryan and her became serious he joined them on their family vacations down there. He fell in love immediately with the caymans and we knew it would be a perfect place to get married
We loved doing ur first look and having that time alone and getting most of the pictures out of the way so we could enjoy the cocktail hour etc! We wouldn’t change it!
We met through mutual friends and coworkers through a wild tree of connections. Ryan’s coworker in Illinois walked Abbey down the aisle at a friend’s wedding in CO a year prior to Ryan moving. He showed Ryan pictures of Abbey and prophesied a meeting of the two in the future. It wasn’t until we were dating for 6 months that Ryan realized Abbey was that girl his coworker had talked about!
Ryan knows that Abbey is THE Christmas elf, so he hired a Santa as a surprise to entertain Abbeys family at their Christmas gathering and brought gifts for all of Abbeys family members. His gift for Abbey? A diamond ring.
There were so many, for Abbey it was all the speeches at the rehearsal dinner, getting ready with their moms and all her best girls, the first look seeing Ryan and how excited he was too, the vows that were so meaningful, all of the amazing speeches and the dance with Ryan and my dad were incredibly special then dancing the night away! For Ryan it was the speeches, the dance party, and the “toes in sand, drink in hand” ceremony. It was a perfectly entertaining beach wedding!
How fun and easy it was! How excited everyone was to be there and how relaxed they were! So fun to have your closest friends with you during those special moments.
Hire Rebecca Davison! She is amazing at what she does and so incredibly sweet! You can just tell how much she loves her job and wants to make it special for each and every couple!
How was your experience taking photos/working with me on your wedding day?
See above, we couldn’t have asked for anything more! We also loved the slide show during the dancing (we have only seen that at one other wedding and we have been to a ton!) You made us feel so comfortable and amazing on our special day!
