We have been dating for over eight and a half years before tying the knot. We have grown up and experienced so much together. We graduated college, started careers, traveled, got a dog, moved into a house and have been blessed to be able to do it with one another.
Emma grew up coming to the Cayman Islands with her family. Ever since she was a little girl, she said she would get married on the beach there one day.
It was truly blissful and a dream come true. Everything went exactly how we were hoping and we now have some of the happiest memories to last us a lifetime.
It was the first dress I tried on at the first place I looked. I had the most amazing consultant, Paul, who understood my style and picked the perfect match. It came down to two finalist
Get a good wedding planner. Working with Sarah made the experience seamless. She took care of all the details. Every detail. She was so thorough and attentive. I could not have imagined trying to do this without her.
Doing our first look was an extremely intimate and wonderful experience we got to share with one another. We got to shake the nerves of seeing each other for the first time, were able to get AMAZING photos and did not have to spend much time away from our guests having photos taken after the ceremony. It was the best idea!
We chose to have a custom suit made. We were looking for a lighter gray suit and could not find anything we liked off the rack. Getting a custom suit allowed us to have control over the color, the fit and the style.

We met in college. We were in the same apartment building only on different floors. Dustin had a group of friends that lived up one story and over from Emma’s apartment. One Saturday morning she was bringing in her groceries and noticed a group of guys partying on her neighbors balcony. There was one guy that caught her attention so she made extra effort to make sure their paths would cross. Dustin soon approached her and asked if she wanted to join him and his friends and party. Without hesitation she joined them and the rest is history.
Get a photographer that understands your style and is able to deliver on that. I met with more than one photographer before choosing Rebecca. She had the right energy, passion, talent and people skills that we knew immediately she was exactly what who we were looking for. Also, book early!
Emma’s parents had planned a trip down to Austin to spend the weekend doing wine tours and hanging out. The night before they arrived Dustin said he was going to have to work on Saturday and wouldn’t be able to join on the wine tours. Emma and her parents proceeded the next day on their wine stops. After a few glasses of wine, Emma admitted to her parents she thought Dustin was tricking her and was going to show and propose. At which time Emma’s mom quickly said, “well, I would have hoped he would have asked your father first.” (spoiler: he already had!) The trick worked and Emma and her parents continued on their tour to the next vineyard. After a few more glasses of wine, Emma’s parents insisted they tour the grounds. A little ways down the path, Dustin was waiting under a tree, playing their favorite song. Emma was in complete shock and surprise as she walked across the rose petals and Dustin got down on one knee.
So excited!!
yes! First look shoot was the best idea!
It was so perfect. You were able to capture everything we were looking for. You made everyone smile. People kept coming up to us afterwards telling us we have the best photographer. The fact that you were able to capture photos, get a display monitor and create a slideshow of some of the days photos was mind blowing! It made such a difference to us and our guests.
