Tell me about your dress. Where did you find it, how did you choose it, how did you know it was the one? Who were you with?

“Kim from Betty’s Girl in Napa, customized my mother’s wedding dress to update the 80’s style. We removed the puffy part of the sleeve and dropped the back line down.”

How did he pop the question?

“We had just arrived in Cayman Brac for a rock climbing trip and I (Tori) started taking in the groceries. He called me outside to look at something and he was down on one knee just outside the door. He said many sweet things and asked me to marry him. I, of course, said yes!”

How did you two meet?

“We were set up on a “blind date.” Of course, with social media, there is no such thing as “blind” anymore.”

What made you choose your venue for your wedding?

“Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park was my grandmother’s favorite place and our love of nature made it the perfect place for us.”

What was your favourite moment from the wedding?

“My favorite part of the wedding was the vows. I couldn’t wait to hear his, and read him mine. I knew there would be lots of happy tears.”

Were there any traditions or ethnic customs that were included in your wedding?

“For our ceremony, we joined the families with a tying of the knot. The rope was brought up by members representing each of the families.”

What was the first song you danced to as husband and wife? Father-daughter dance? Mother-son dance?

“Our first dance was to As the World Caves In by Sarah Cothran because even when the world felt like it was caving in, we knew we would be in it The father-daughter dance song was I See the Light from Tangled (our first solo father daughter date.) The mother-son dance was If This Is The Last Time by LANY.”

Did you have live music? If so tell me how they were!

“We didn’t hire any live music, but as a surprise, I (Tori) sang Can’t Help Falling in Love, the Elvis Presley version to my new husband at the reception.”
