The minute I met Amanda and Joe I knew their beach wedding was going to be incredible, both so fun and totally trusting when it came to planning their photos. We started with the getting ready at the absolute stunning villas of Beachcomber. In Amanda’s villa, the decor was all white which just made the getting ready shots so stunning. Getting married on the beach right there at Beachcomber was important as the family has been part of this property and coming to the Cayman Islands since the 1980’s. After the ceremony the guests all just walked down the beach to Luca at the Caribbean Club, one of Cayman’s finest restaurant.
Do it, just freaking do it. So worth it.
I just love the simple setup and total privacy for this beach wedding
Joes family has owned a place at the beach comber for 30 years.
Through mutual friends at a bar.
We lately moved into a lake house. Joe proposed on the island we pass every day. He proposed the day before my 30th birthday. Very special. There were candles and pictures all over the island.
Our dance, our first look, everything was out of a dream.
Happy.
Unreal, crazy fun, a dream.
Remember what it’s all about. Me and Joe. Joining our lives forever. Cut the drama. It should be special, every step.
Our song is take the world by johnny swim Joes mom passed, so he danced with his sister, Danielle. She picked a slow song, then 30 seconds in, changed it to their favorite dance song from the 90s. It was sweet.
Plenty of time. A drink always helps…loosens you up to enjoy them more. Otherwise I would have looked too stiff!
Jackie for hair and make up( awesome) Luca was so great. Laura was so easy to work with. Dj Craig was perfect! I was an annoying bride about play lists and what not and he killed it.
That everyone would feel appreciated and loved. I think we achieved it.
Everyone on the island told me! All you have to say is, ” I’m getting married” and everyone says “not without Rebecca!”
