The Dress
It was actually the 2nd dressed I tried on. The minute I saw myself in it a giddiness came over me. I went with my mum before we moved to Canada after we got engaged before we had booked anything as we didn’t know when we would be back. Once we set a date I went to a number of other boutiques in Canada but I kept being drawn back to “that” dress. It was really special that the dress was the one I tried on with my mum there and from my home Donegal.
How did Adam pop the question
He asked me to marry him in Paris one evening along the Seine under the Eiffel tower glow. We had been living in Paris for a year and were about to move to Canada. Paris is so special to us both, so this was a beautiful moment. It was the easiest yes I ever said.
Personalized items
Our personalised vows was such special moment in our ceremony. And the music provided by @Lucy_Faye_music added so much love and joy to the moments throughout the ceremony.
Any Traditions
I had a non traditional second dress from @rosieetienne. It was so fun and exactly what I needed for an evening of dancing.
First Look
My first look with my dad was another special moment on the morning, it was a very emotional moment but one I will cherish forever.
The Aisle
Wow. It was such a magical moment, one I will never forget. Seeing Adam standing there waiting for me at the top looking so dapper and excited to see me, and then everyone we loved smiling up at me. It was emotional. Also the work that @kikisilvarum_floraldesign did to bring our vision together was out of this world. Will remember this moment forever.
The Venue
Casa de la era was the reason we had our wedding in Spain, the moment we saw the venue we both knew it was exactly what we wanted, it exuberated romance, intimacy and fun.
Unique Touches
We designed little guest notes for each person as the table place names. We wanted to do this to acknowledge how much we love and appreciated every person that joined us to celebrate our day. Everyone loved them so much it was so nice seeing them share them with each other and talking about them.
We also had a photobooth next to the dance floor which was so much fun for everyone to get involved.
Another exciting thing our guests loved was our crepe station, these were our little bit of Paris at our wedding.
Amazing Partners
Our music was provided by @ geckoblastermusic, @maxeemarbella, @quikenavarro at the reception. They are all amazing. Lee from the geckoblasters was incident helpful throughout the whole processes and helped us in so many ways from providing our dinner play list, equipment to providing an amazing experience for our guests everyone was dancing the whole night.
Maxee & quike were so fun they kept the party going all night the dance floor was never empty. They got very one involved too which we loved. both were so professional and so helpful throughout the whole experience. Maxees sound system was incredible on the night.
Decor
Flowers – @kikisilvarum_floraldesign. Maria really brought our vision to life, we were completely blown away by it on the day.
Signage – @nulkinulks. Anoulka did our beautiful welcome mirror and table plan. It was everything we wanted.
