Tali and Todd’s Bacaro wedding was incredible, surrounded by family and friends on this epic occasion! Everyone partied the night away with cocktails, delicious food and a vibrant energy.
THE DRESS
It took me a while to find my dress. I didn’t want something that was very bridal. I wanted a white gown. I finally found the dress when I was with my sister. She pushed me into it because I was being so indecisive. My seamstress changed so many things about it, including removing the train. The day of, I just loved it and just as important to me, my husband adored it!
HOW DID YOU BOTH MEET
During Covid, I sold my house and my daughter’s and I moved into a building. The first week we moved in, a mutual friend introduced me to Todd, both of who were living in the building. That was the beginning of our story taking off!
HOW DID TODD POP THE QUESTION
It was Thanksgiving, we were sitting around the table with our family, saying what we were grateful for. When it was his turn, he turned to me and proposed. : )
FUN
Out on the balcony with the girls. Also the day of the welcome party on the balcony! The welcome party dress was my favorite!!
THE CHUPPAH
We got married under the chuppah and did the Hora, traditional Jewish customs.
THE DECOR
It was beautiful with all different types of white flowers and candles. Lighting to create the ambience as well.
THE AISLE
I was so excited to get to Todd. It felt like a fairytale and I just wanted to be next to him.
RAIN
It rained for a few minutes during the ceremony. Someone brought us an umbrella and we were caught up in the moment. When we finally turned around to see our guests, Todd and I burst in to smiles. They were all huddled together under the bigger umbrellas. It was a moment we will always remember!
THE KISS
Kissing Todd’s warm lips always gives me that peaceful feeling like I’m home!
BACARO
We chose Bacaro because it seemed like a less traditional wedding venue, which is what we wanted. There were different locations around the restaurant, all offering something special. It felt like an intimate space where all of our guests would be comfortable and we could set the stage for a great party! The rain caused us to miss out on having cocktail hour by the marina and hanging out at the outdoor lounge yet we made the best of it and still loved how the wedding turned out!
THE RECEPTION
I loved the part where the bottles of champagne came out with sparkler, and everyone went wild. I’d love our family dance. I loved everybody being happy!
