Cute story about wedding
“We really wanted our wedding to be personal, we got rid of any traditions that didn’t feel like us and replaced them with things that was. We always wanted to marry abroad in the sun, with our closest family and friends. We had my brother as our celebrant, mother daughter dance and our son as best man. We wanted to not only celebrate the love we have for eachother but also celebrate our love as one big family. It was the wedding and holiday of dreams.”

Tell us about your dress
“I found my dress at Adella Bridal in Norwich. It was one of the first dresses I tried on and I absolutely fell in love with all of the details of it and how it made me feel. I then went on to try on other dresses and shopped at other boutiques but couldn’t get my dress out of my head, that’s how I knew it was the one.”
Cute Story about you both
“Met on a dating app. Went for our first date at go ape which is a treetop climbing experience. Took us so long to get round because I was scared of each obstacle that when we finally finished we were the last ones in the park and it had all be shut up even the staff had gone. Fell in love over the summer of 2016, spent every year since living life to the fullest and making beautiful memories.”
How did he pop the question
“He was planning on asking me on holiday on the beach however the pandemic had other plans! Therefore he suggested we had Christmas at ours and invite everyone to us, and to go all out! We had never had Christmas at home before we are usually driving around between other family members. So we had just finished our Christmas dinner and all the family were all sitting around the table having a drink and laughing (making up for all time lost seeing one another) then Luke said to me that get had another surprise present for me, and then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes!! Ol”
How did you choose your venue
“We knew we wanted to marry in Spain and we we’re searching for venues all over. We then stumbled across sunshine weddings in Marbella who sent us a few different venues and we fell in love with our venue. Neither of us had ever been to Marbella before but we’re unable to fly out to check it out before hand due to covid restrictions, so we spontaneously booked it in March and then eventually flew to Marbella in November to see it and explore the area, safe to say it did not disappoint, the venue was beautiful!”
How did you feel walking down the aisle
“On the build up I thought I would feel nervous and was worried my legs would turn to jelly. But actually on the day I was calm, it was emotional once we saw eachother but as soon as we were together at the end of the aisle every was just perfect.”
What was your favourite parts of the wedding
“Seeing each other at the end of aisle The speeches, all were amazing but especially Leons, such a proud moment because his not usually one to say much especially when it comes to emotions. Our first dance And dancing the night away with everyone we love.”
How would you describe your overall wedding experience
“Perfect! Our day was ours and it was exactly how we wanted it to be, to celebrate us. I wouldn’t of changed a thing.”
Would you recommend destination wedding to others
“Do it! Destination weddings are the way forward. Beautiful sunshine and quality time with each other and family as it’s not just the one day.”
Did you see each other before the wedding
“We stayed separately the night before the wedding and didn’t see each other the day of until we met at end of the aisle. This was perfect, we wasn’t away from each other for too long but also made it feel special when we saw each other on the day.”
What was your first dance
“Our first dance was Jason Mraz, I won’t give up. Followed by Chris Brown, Forever. I also had a mother-daughter dance with my mum to Anne-Marie, Her”
