How did you meet?
“Our story began with a simple meeting of two high school students at an after school club. There was an instant connection, and a new friendship quickly developed into something more. We spent some time as “just friends,” and on December 18th, 2009 our relationship officially started. Even as two excited teenagers, we knew that what we had was one of a kind. The love we have shared has continued to grow with each day that passes, and there is nothing that brings us more joy than each other.Â
From the beginning, those two teenagers talked about the day they would be married… We are just as excited now as we were then for a new chapter of our story to begin. “

My sisters, MOH, Mummy, and Mother of the Groom were all with me dress shopping, 6 ladies plus me was quite an entourage! Alessa’s Bridal was my first appointment and “the dress” was the 6th one I tried on. As soon as the sales person zipped me up I had this feeling. I should’ve stopped there but figured I’d give some other shops a try, 10 more dresses later I was 100% sure it was “the one!”
We went to Smith’s Cove after work one day and took a walk out on the iron shore, all of a sudden he stopped, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!
Have all your bridesmaids dressed and ready for the “getting ready” photos, you don’t want them to miss out on the “big things”, like helping you into your dress Do a first look!!!!! It was the best decision. My husband said he would’ve been a wreck watching me walk down the aisle had we not had our first look 🙂

Alex ordered his suit online from Indochino, he had 17 different measurements taken before placing the order so it was tailored to fit him perfectly. 
During my vows: overcome with emotion and love for this man I was marrying, the tears flowed freely!
