Keith and Rhea were married in October last year, but both of them, having grown up in Cayman, wanted to make sure that their wedding photographs showed the real Cayman and the amazing architecture and beautiful foliage and scenery. I had to laugh when Keith and Rhea pulled up and a big van arrived with the couch that we then basically lugged through the town… that is dedication :). So we waited for a long time for this amazing session and I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome, it was perfect, we pretty much had our gorgeous little George Town all to ourselves…save for a few ‘fans’ honking their horns (everyone knows everyone here) hahaha. Rhea’s flowers (Phalaenopsis Orchids )were made by The Flower Dell, floral department – gob-smacking gorgeous eh! (yes that is a word). You know what I love so much about this little island is the pure joy of EVERYONE…. check out the chap (shirtless) who rides his bike past and can’t help but be so thrilled for this couple and lets go of the handle bars, raises his hands and gives out a yell… check out Keith’s face on that one and the excitement Rhea feels. I couldn’t help but shout “Carpe Diem” – Seize the Day… that is what these guys did…. !!!! Yes I get a bit carried away I’m sorry I cant help it!
Love you guys xxxx
Hair – Karis Docen, Hair in Motion
Make-up – Stephanie Ford (wedding day-blog to ‘soon come’ tomorrow); Leticia Davis (creative session)
This shot was very important to the couple, Keith’s grandfather was Capt. Keith Parker Tibbetts MBE JP, a very outstanding citizen and very important man of the Cayman Islands.
We always joke that the CHICKEN should be the mascot to the Cayman Islands because they are everywhere and a not afraid of anything 🙂
Okay so here is the story with this shot. I was way across on the other side of the road and behind a wall, Keith said to Rhea that as people drove by they couldn’t see me so he felt everyone was thinking…. ‘what was this random couple dressed in wedding gear in the middle of the town’ doing…..
